In this second edition of the “Iberian Equity Awards” organized by the Spanish Association for Investor Relations, David López Finistrosa, Director of Investor Relations at Bankinter, was honored as one of the best professionals in his field. The Iberian Equity Awards are based on an annual worldwide survey of more than 1,500 analysts and investors, conducted by the publication Institutional Investor.
Bankinter celebrates six years in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index
Bankinter consolidates its membership in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World, an index that groups together the most sustainable companies in the global arena. The bank is one of the financial institutions that best applies environmental, social and governance criteria, an international recognition that Bankinter has managed to revalidate for the sixth consecutive year. Bankinter obtained the highest score in the areas of transparency and reporting, customer relationship management and privacy. It also stands out in other areas such as: ethical management, financial inclusion, climate strategy, human rights, labor indicators and health and safety management.
María Dolores Dancausa makes history after receiving her third award at the “Tintero” awards
María Dolores Dancausa, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bankinter, has received a new award at the prestigious “Inkwell” awards given by the Association of Economic Information Journalists (APIE) to public figures who stand out for their effective communication policies and their effort to inform the media with clear and transparent information. Therefore, Dancausa becomes the first person to receive three awards at the “Tintero” awards, after receiving an award in 2011 and 2017.

Bankinter is among the 98 finalist organizations for the awards organized by the Corresponsables Foundation, among more than 800 nominations received. Bankinter once again included in the FTSE4Good Sustainability Index
Bankinter receives further recognition as a sustainable bank. The entity has again renewed its membership of the UK's prestigious FTSE4Good index, which features the international companies with the strongest sustainability performance. For the 22nd year in a row, the bank has passed the annual review required for inclusion in this index, which was created in 2001.

The twenty-third edition of the corporate reputation monitor Merco Empresas y Líderes has once again included Bankinter in its list of the most reputable companies in Spain, ranking it 37th out of 100 companies. Bankinter Asset Management has once again been recognised as one of the best Spanish asset managers at the seventeenth European Funds Trophy Awards. A total of 30 Spanish companies feature in 'The Sustainability Yearbook 2023' published by S&P Global in partnership with Robeco SAM and based on the rating of the world's largest companies in SAM's annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). This edition includes 708 companies from 61 sectors, chosen from among 7,800 companies.
Bankinter, the fastest-growing Spanish banking brand in 2023
Bankinter has climbed 24 positions in the world ranking of banking brands and is the Spanish bank that has increased its brand value the most in the last year. This is revealed by the Brand Finance Banking 500 2023 report, which highlights the 500 banks with the highest brand value in the world and their performance in recent months. Bankinter improved its brand value by 46%, enabling it to climb to number 213 in the world ranking. This makes it the Spanish bank to climb furthest in the last year. This percentage increase in Bankinter's brand value is more than double the average growth of all Spanish banks, whose total value grew by 17.4%, to 30.5 billion euros.

Bankinter has received this certificate from the prestigious Top Employers Institute for 16 consecutive years. It has been awarded to 118 companies in Spain after undergoing a rigorous process which assesses and audits good human resources practices in 20 different areas including digitalisation, work environment, leadership, talent acquisition, learning, well-being, sustainability and diversity and inclusion. Bankinter is in 11th position, three places higher than in the prior edition.
Members of the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index 2023
Bankinter joins for the first time this index, which measures gender equality through five pillars: leadership and talent development, pay equity and parity, inclusive culture, sexual harassment policies and brand image.
23 Spanish companies form part of this year's index, out of a total of 484 companies located in 45 countries and regions, with Bankinter listed in 172nd place.
