27 December 2012. Bankinter won the Best Customer Experience Award 2012 in the Retail Banking category. Bankinter also came tenth in the global ranking in the first edition of these awards in Spain.

The daily El Economista held the second edition of the Noche de la Economía ("Economy Night") in which the CEO of Bankinter was presented with the award for personality of the year for her "capabilities in managing a medium-size bank in these times of crisis that the Spanish financial system is going through".

23 November 2012. Bankinter was selected for another successive year as one of the 49 ?Top Employers in Spain 2012/13?, thus being placed in the select group of best places to work. Dintel 2012 Award for the best Data Centre project
21 November 2012. Gneis received an award for a project developed by Bankinter: High Availability of Critical Systems. This concerns a high availability solution with geographic redundancy for Oracle joint engineering systems known as Exadata. It is the first one rolled out on a worldwide scale, and it has been a success, making it a reference in terms of excellence and advanced technology.

Bankinter, one of the best companies to work for according to Merco Personas
13 November 2012. Bankinter is positioned as one of the best companies to work for, according to the Merco Personas ranking. The Bank rose by 12 places in the overall ranking compared with the previous year, to number 29 of the 100 companies studied. As regards ranking by sector, Bankinter is in fourth place among the nine financial institutions (banks) that were covered by the study.

30 October 2012. Bankinter was a finalist in the Telefónica Ability Awards in the categories of accessibility, top management commitment and customer-mindedness. These awards, for which there were 400 candidates in this edition, recognise best practices in attending to persons with disabilities.

29 October 2012. Bankinter was the Spanish bank with the best reputation in 2012. This was confirmed by the RepTrakTM Pulse España 2012 study of the Reputation Institute, and Bankinter was also one of the ten companies that most improved their perception compared with 2011. The study also states that Bankinter is perceived by respondents as the Spanish bank with the best and most comprehensive offering of products and services.

5 October 2012. Gneis was a finalist in the Banking Technology Awards in two categories: Best Security Initiative, for the Security, Continuity and Risk Management programme. IT Team of the Year, for its support to Bankinter in achieving its objectives.
Dintel Award 2012 for the best business continuity project
26 September 2012. This award is another reflection of the great work carried out by our colleagues in Gneis, who among other things have made it possible to obtain ISO 22301 certification.
"One bank for all", Social Enterprise Award
15 June 2012. Bankinter was awarded one of the Social Enterprise prizes by the Mundo Ciudad ("City World") foundation for organisations that stand out by virtue of their corporate responsibility policies.

6 June 2012. The Bankinter Group's Sales Planning in Business Intelligence project won one of the Awards for the Best Projects in Banking and Insurance 2012 presented by the Dintel Foundation.
Nothing More Mortgage, Finance Titan 2012
Bankinter has been awarded with one of the Titans of Finance Awards 2012, for the Nothing More Mortgage, the first Spanish mortgage on the market to break away from unlimited liability.
With the release of this mortgage, Bankinter revolutionized the financial markets last summer, in response to the demand from our customers and prospects.
The Titans of Finance awards are organized by the Ecofin Magazine in collaboration with the Association of Credit Managers (AGC), the National Association of Financial Advisers (ANAF), the Spanish Association of Treasurers and Financial Company (Asset) and the Association Spanish and Financial Executives (AEEF).
Finalists for representing Spain in the EBA

The Innovation Foundation Bankinter has been recognized as the 19 th think tank world specializing in science and technology, the only Spanish in the ranking 'Global Go-To Think Tank Index, produced annually by' The Think Tanks and Civil Society Program ', of the University of Pennsylvania.
